Came into town for a little escape from Denver for the night, and was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations and warmth of both the Inn and the San Isabel Suite. I will definitely be a return customer!
Walking in the front door, we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and homey lobby and lovely staircase ascending to our San Isabel room. It was lovely and spacious with quality furnishing, I reflected this is where we will stay in the future in Westcliffe, CO. A lovely westerly view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains to the west across the lush green valley, a large accommodating kitchen, a quiet location, and comfy sliders on the porch to view the mountains will bring us back.
We stayed two nights and the room was very clean and decorated very nicely. Very impressed with the overall lodge. The views were outstanding. Would definitely stay again.
Stayed here one night for a get-away from Colorado Springs. Wonderful room, cleaner than my house and the best views are a few of the best things about this whole place!
What a Treat this Was
The comfort of this spacious suite served our every need. We were pleasantly surprised at the view of a full moon over the mountains through the front window even from our beds. I had stayed out on the wonderfully pleasant front porch in the evening and returned again the next morning to watch the moon disappear over the mountains and the mountain colors change from silhouette dark to golden light.
Another Lovely Stay
This is my third time staying at the Lamp Post Lodge. The room is beautiful and bright with great views of the mountains and the area. Enjoyed yet another delicious breakfast.
